And the surprise guest artist is... Mellissa Redman, aka :iconxadrea: the absolutely amazing watercolorist who was awesome enough to illustrate an ENTIRE CHAPTER of Simple Complications in her signature watercolor style. This is actually the first SC chapter to ever be illustrated in real media.

Because this is a special chapter and illustrated by a different artist, the individual comics will not follow the same numbering, instead they will be listed as SCS#1-12 (Yeah, it's a lot longer than the 4 pages we were originally planning.)

So get ready for it, this is going to be a really unusual chapter. CITY OF FEAR will be posted in its entirety tomorrow, Halloween Day!

And of course, thank you =Xadrea for your excellent contribution to the Simple Complications series!

Quite a difference indeed - =Xadrea's rough lines coupled with the gloomy colours really set the tone for this, it's impressive. :nod: :thumbsup:

I don't have time to comment on every page of this arc so I will gather my thoughts here :)

The combination of Xadrea's eerie water coloring and the very weirdly told horror story work together like a charm. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this. I would suggest the whole arc to be a daily deviation if it would be possible. Suggesting just one panel would not do it justice.
